About the institution

ICFML is a Portuguese association dedicated to the training, accreditation, and promotion of mediation in Portuguese Speaking Countries (Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe, Timor).
The ICFML is accredited by the International Mediation Institute (IMI) and it is also accredited by the Portuguese Ministry of Justice as a training and accreditation mediation institute. In 2021, ICFML, SIMI (Singapore Mediation Institute) IFCM (Institut Français de Certification de Mediateurs) signed an MOU, aiming at the equivalence of certifications of the three institutions.
