About the trainer

Janusz Kaźmierczak – mediator and trainer/educator with university background in philosophy and social psychology, and a diploma in commercial mediation (postgraduate).

First trained as a mediator in 2006. Full time mediator and trainer/educator since 2009. He is a member of the board and a mediator in Dialogue Lab Foundation (Toruń) since 2011.

Coordinator of court-referred mediation in the District Court in Toruń (2010-2015). President of the board of the Family Mediators Association (2019 – 2022).

He has extensive experience in training central and local government officials, social workers, NGO and business professionals.

Mediates civil (including commercial and business) and family cases, also transnational and transcultural. In the past he used to mediate in victim-offender cases (with adult and juvenile offenders).

Member of the Civic Council for Alternative Dispute Resolution affiliated at the Minister of Justice.

Co-author of the book “Family mediation. A practical guide “( 2015 edition).
